YMCA Healthy Kids Day is a national day dedicated to improving the health and well-being of kids across Canada. Participating YMCAs open their doors even wider, encouraging families to discover how simple and fun healthy living can be with the YMCA as their partner. Annually, YMCA Healthy Kids Day draws over 30,000 participants to events at over 100 YMCA locations across the country.

The YMCA offers a variety of programs for children of all ages and the whole family too. From healthy eating tips, to physical activities and games, YMCA Healthy Kids Day includes activities that are accessible, free of charge and open to the public. On June 8, the YMCA of Greater Saint John is inviting you and your family to enjoy a day of free outdoor fun at the YMCA Glenn Carpenter Centre.

Activities include hiking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, crafts, face painting, field games and much more. Healthy snacks will be provided. In support of our Strong Communities Campaign, participants can dunk local community leaders such as MP Wayne Long, Mayor Don Darling and Councillor Greg Norton in our fundraising dunk tank.

Join us Saturday June 8, 2018 from 1:00 -3:00 pm at the YMCA Glenn Carpenter Centre located at 730 Foster Thurston Drive.

There will be transportation provided from King Square and the Saint John Regional Y.
