Strong Communities Financial Assistance

 If your financial circumstances make it difficult for you to register for a Camp Glenburn program, consider applying for financial support. The Y's Strong Communities Fund make camping a possibility for all.

To apply:
Online - Complete Strong Kids form at time of registration.
Manually - Submit a Strong Communities form with your Registration form.

Note:
Once your application received, the Glenburn Office will contact you to finalize your adjusted camp fees. A deposit is required to confirm your registration.

David Walker Memorial Fund

David Walker (Fyn) spent many happy summers at Glenburn and a camper, CIT and Staff. Fyn loved the outdoors and it was at Glenburn that he honed his outdoor skills - swimming, hiking, climbing, working as a team and making friends. After his death in 2011, Fyn's family and friends established a fund to support a deserving camper in developing their skills in outdoor leadership by attending Camp Glenburn's Leadership program.

This fund covers 100% of the fess for the Leadership program for the selected recipient.

To apply:
Submit the David Walker Memorial Fund Application form to Pip Nightingale.
Register for a Leadership session either online or manually. 
Submission deadline is January 31st, 2018.

To ensure your spot is saved in the Leadership program, we recommend that you complete a registration (online or manually) before the submission deadline. If selected as recipient, your deposit will be refunded. 

Leslie Bruce Bursary

Leslie Bruce (Fee) was an active Glenburn camper and staff member who was deeply involved in environmental education. A natural leader, Fee inspired many other to do their part in respecting the environment. To honor her work and lessons, Fee's family are offering this bursary to a deserving camper who is passionate about the natural world and other environmental causes.

This fund covers 100% of the fees for the Leadership program for the selected recipient.

To apply:
Submit a Leslie Bruce Bursary Application form to Pip Nightingale.
Register for a Leadership session either online or manually.
Submission deadline is January 31st, 2018.
