Learn to Nordic Walk 1

December 2 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Nordic walking is one of the fastest-growing activities to promote health and wellbeing for a lifetime. Nordic Walking offers something for everyone, it can be used for a gentle walk to increase regular activity and keep limber and it can also be a very athletic activity to promote high-level fitness similar to running or cycling.

We are having an information session where you can find how to get the best out of the Skills Launch Program.

A creative event where we will prepare for later Multicultural event. For youth ages 12-19

PD Day Girls in Motion

December 3 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

The YMCA of Greater Saint John and the City of Saint John are teaming up to offer a FREE half-day session of the Girls in Motion program on December 3 at the Irving Oil Field House!  Girls, ages 9 - 13, will have fun and make friends while promoting their physical activity, overall health and well-being, healthy eating, confidence, and learning about diversity.

PD Day Boys in Motion

December 3 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Holiday Paint & Sip 2

December 4 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us for a festive holiday Paint & Sip lead by Create with Corinne! All the supplies along with tasty holiday sweet treats paired with hot chocolate and hot apple cider included (non-alcoholic beverages). This will be the first of two painting events wherein we’ll be working on painting the silhouette of a couple embracing beneath a decorated lamppost. All skill levels are welcome! This event is for participants ages 16 and up.

Holiday Crafting Afternoon

December 5 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

It's time to get creative and festive! Join us for an afternoon of holiday crafting at the Irving Oil Field House: Sunday, December 5, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. In this staff-led craft session, we'll be making Christmas gnomes and holiday cards. This event is FREE to attend, for participants ages 18+, all skill levels are welcome, and craft supplies, coffee, tea, and sweets are included.
