The Community Connections Fair (CCF) is an annual event meant to give newcomers and local organizations alike the chance to connect and find ways to help one another. This year, the event will be held on a new and highly interactive virtual platform called Remo. Please save the date for April 28th, from 11:00AM- 1:30PM.
The CCF is a great way for newcomers to get connected with programs and services of interest, in a space that is accessible and engaging.
Clients with limited CLB levels and tech literacy have the option to join through a safe in-class experience that offers an equally captivating learning opportunity.
The CCF provides newcomers with a variety of tools to help them navigate their day-to-day activities. This includes language training, tax clinics, education, employment and volunteer opportunities, etc.
Newcomers bring vast knowledge, skills, and a wide range of experience in many fields and sectors. The CCF is a great way for organizations to connect with newcomers and gain insight on the role they play in helping the community. This includes but is not limited to: bringing new projects to the area, volunteering, bringing in new opportunities, challenging the status quo, and building a healthy & inclusive community.
